We are a local branch of the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA), located in the Kingdom of Calontir, including Burlington, Iowa and surrounding communities in Southeast Iowa. The SCA is a world-wide group dedicated to promoting the culture, history, society and traditions of the medieval world, focusing on the time period from 600 to 1600 AD. Activities in the SCA include, but are by no means limited to: period camping, dance, music, crafts, heraldry, and of course medieval combat.
