Ides of October Fighting
11am - 12pm -- Buckler Tourney -- Combatants will have the choice of using buckler & sword or buckler and 6' spear. Bucklers and spears can be provided for those who don't have one. Bring your own sword. Will be a typical list style tourney.
1pm - ?? Gladiator Tourney -- Single combatants will enter the list and indicate from one to four house Gladiators to challenge. House Gladiators will be Huscarls or Knights only. There will be a point system built around how many Gladiators are fought at once. The more Gladiators that are fought at the same time the more each individual kill is worth. I.E. -- fight 1 gladiator and kill them = 1point, fight 2 gladiators then each kill is worth 2 points, fight 3 then each kill is worth 3 points, fight 4 then each kill is worth 4 points. Winner will be the combatant with the most points at the end of predetermined time limit. Time limit may be extended if the fighters wish it.
Time permitting, we will run a 3 way team melee. The team captains will be the winner of the buckler tourney, winner of the gladiator tourney, and the person with the least points in the gladiator tourney. Each captain will take turns picking team memebers until all participants are absorbed.
