OK, this has been shamelessly copied from last year's web site, but idea of the Third Annual Bodice Competition is still the same,
We're pleased to announce the A&S contest informally titled "Best
Melons in any Medium," which is otherwise known as the Third Annual
Melon Wars Bodice Competition, to be judged by a panel
of Extremely Qualified and Highly Esteemed and Experienced Judges,
who will seek to determine who has the bestest Melons in Flinthyll.
The contest will be held in two divisions. Entrants may enter either,
or both divisions, at their option. A prize, along with the adulation
and respect of the populace, will be awarded for each division.
The First Division, being the "Formal" or "Period" bodice competition
This will be held shortly after the Lunch Tavern, or at the Autocrat's
pleasure. This division is for those who would like to show a more
authentic or period style bodice. Live modeling is encouraged. Entrants
should be prepared to tell us about their Bodice.
The Second Division, being the "Adult" or "Open" bodice competition
This will be held during a break in the "Melon Busting Greatswords by
Torchlight" tournament. This division is for those who have more, shall
we say, outrageous entries. Live modeling is required. Entrants should
be prepared to tell the panel of Extremely Qualified and Highly
Experienced and Esteemed Judges about their Melons, and why they are
the bestest Melons in Flinthyll.
